What data do we collect?
TestWhat is designed to be anonymous by default. We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information when you take a test.
We store aggregate result counts per test type (e.g., "500 people got INFJ"). These counts are used to power the leaderboard and are completely anonymous.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use the browser's localStorage to remember your preferred colour theme (light/dark) across visits. No tracking cookies are set by TestWhat itself.
Third-party Services
- Google Analytics β We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, device types, referrers). It may set cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts β We load fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address. See Google's privacy policy for details.
Advertising
TestWhat may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can opt out via Google's ad settings.
Data Retention
Aggregate result counts are stored indefinitely to maintain the leaderboard. They contain no personal information.
Your Rights
Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal information to access, correct, or delete. For analytics opt-out, please use your browser's privacy settings or a tool such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
