The MACH-IV (Christie & Geis, 1970) is the most widely used self-report measure of Machiavellianism — strategic cynicism, manipulation tolerance, and moral flexibility in interpersonal life.

20 statements, 7-point Likert scale, total score 40–160 (neutral ≈ 100). Three classic subscales: Views of human nature, Manipulative tactics, and Moral flexibility.

Is this the official MACH-IV?
